Guardian Angel

A guardian angel was sent from heaven.

My eternal gratitude,
My endless joy,
Are all a result
Of the angel.

A guardian sent from above
To watch over her.
As she lay in that sterile bed,
In a hospital.
A strange new city;
Alone and afraid,
Recovering from surgery.

An angel was sent
For comfort and guidance,
For protection.

The angel watched over her,
Kept her in company,
So she did not have to be
Alone.

My eternal gratitude,
My endless joy
Are the result
Of a Guardian Angel.
