This is a poem about heaven inspired by C.S. Lewis. |
| It's sweeter than honey. It's just beyond our taste. It's much more beautiful Than any earthly place. It shines so much brighter Than the purest sunlight. It soars far far higher Than the very highest height. One day we will see Him Just as He really is, In all His splendid glory, Not through a mere dark lens. There, He's ever dwelling In unapproachable light, In full view and yet still, He's just beyond our sight. He'll make us all an image Of His beloved Son, We'll all be pure and holy, And then we'll all be one. He shall in mercy clothe us With honor and majesty. He'll give us all new bodies Like ones we've never seen. Come! Run with me! Out of the Shadowlands... Further up... Further in... Further up... Further in... |
