Silent Prayer

Poem written to my friend who was killed in an automobile accident in 2003.

Just an angel
That's all I have to say.
Keep him safe
that's all I have to pray.
There is no words that can explain
how it makes me feel
to feel this drain
that still feels so unreal.
The grandest person.
The kindest first one.
May he know he's always loved
and truly heaven sent back above.
