A poem about hard times.

I know don't always understand
But I do always try
You are so angry with me
I don't understand and I start to cry

You don't show me that you want to
hold me or soothe me at all
You just stayed angry with me
the whole time while I cried in the hall

When you are unhappy
I hold you and comfort you
Please help me honey
I am hurting all the way through

You said there was no excuse
I am sorry for what I have done
I cried so hard that it hurt
I love you more than anything and anyone

I said I was sorry
in a meaningful way
I hope you will forgive me
somehow; some day

But later we'll make up
Like always we'll be alright
I will tell you how much I love you
And I will squeeze you tight

No matter what happens
When something is wrong
Our hearts overpower it
Together they are strong...
