SEND AN ANGEL

Lord, send an angel
to protect the ones I love,
as they choose to fly away,
high up in the sky above!

I know you see the words I write
and I know you hear my prayers,
so I'm leaving it in your hands, Lord,
in this world so full of cares.

Keep them safe and bring them home,
let me love them a little longer;
If you can spare an angel, Lord,
my courage will be stronger.
