Forever hoping

My life seems to have left me
I sink into a deep misery
Hoping that someone will find me
That someone will rescue me
No one comes

My pain is familiar
I've been through this before
But somehow it's sharper this time
Cutting deep inside me
Like a jagged sword

It is everyone I trusted
Who I thought deserved a chance
They abused my trust
Decided I was not important enough
I was not worth it

To them I am just unwanted trash
That nobody wants to deal with
Being tossed around
Wondering if someone will care
Waiting...
