A poem about love, and how sometimes even the best things die. |
| Your eyes once softened by love, Now hardened by hate, You know, just as I do, that I am slipping away. You said don't give me lust That you knew where it led, Which is where we are now. So I forced it upon you, Even then I knew, There just was no way. So now here we are, Tied by unbreakable bonds, Secrets, and things we can't forget. I am sorry for the pain I have put you through, Yet feel no pain or guilt in doing so, So now I bid you good bye, forever, and always. And in the words of me "toodles" |
