A baby praying mantis

This is a baby praying mantis. It's only about 1/2 in length. This is the smallest I've found yet in my garden. I was watering my Japanese Maple when I saw these tiny "things" running all over the tree. A closer look...I found many of these babies all over the tree. This tree is a great place for them to live and grow. It's protection from the birds. They are so cute!!!
