Fibro Feelings

Acrostic poem describing the feelings and emotions of having Fibromyalgia.

Frustration with being told it is in my head
Irritable when I don't get enough sleep
Betrayed by my body
Restricted by the limitations of pain and fatigue
Obscure because the doctors don't believe in it
Maddening to find a treatment plan that works
Yearning for what used to be
Alone knowing that no one understands
Listless because every movement causes pain
Grieving for the life I had
Insignificant when no one believes I can be in that much pain
Anxious to get a night's sleep
