The spring in my step
came from the tulips
he gave me.
So wonderful,
so unexpected,
on the most
loving day in February.

I am still living
in a fairyland
all my own.
My days
have been bright
with the sight
of the blossoms.

Although I know
not why I am,
where I am,
I do know I am
in love with him.
He is my man
and my man alone.
