No Excuses!

I often intend not let real life interfere
While I do this virtual daily writing grind
Writing for the Writer’s Cramp
Do you really expect me to have fond thoughts of you?

I’m late; I’m late for this important daily date
To write a poem or prose and hope that it will rate
What has a dreamer to do more than to follow prompts from you?
The writing is on the wall; I know that I will fail

What’s the use? I have no excuse
My only defense is “I blame you!”
Words often fail me in the short time allowed
There is just no pleasing this crowd!

No excuses will I write for you this day?
All the while hoping you burns every day in hell
