A lighthouse that touched my heart

The lighthouse
Offers guidance
It does not
Lead ships to harbor
Push ships from danger
Pull ships along shorelines
It merely guides
A light affording safety
A constant
The captain must decide
His course.

Until I saw that lighthouse
