A perfect night slightly obscured....

A night remembered

We danced in honor of the night
underneath a pale moon, slightly obscured by clouds.

With a hint of chill, the wind blew,
through our hair and across our flesh
leaving with each passage,
a feeling of refresh.

Somewhere in the night
a dog's howl echoed
as a stray cat serenaded on a picket fence.

Music poured out the open doors
of the club across the street,
mingling with it's occupants glee.

But through it all
my love and I were alone
dancing underneath a pale moon,
slightly obscured by clouds.
