an' social squabble
fer they cause nothin' but trouble,

they are an' abomination

Lovers leave, loved ones die
an' friends turn,
to a softhearted Irishman like me,
they all three cause the soul to hurt,

With these three treasures
life has it's leisure,
each helps me body to relax
an' me mind to think clear,
