Stormy's Contest

The Musical Chord of Winter


The chord of enchantment
lets the musical notes float
across the cold whispering air
of the winter snow.

The music dulls
the harsh reality
of the death in winter.

The life in the lyrical air
makes the cold frigid day
seem like a springtime joy
with the buds and blossoms
coming up from everywhere.
