Only Dreaming

As always a poem, but not my best, in my opinion..

Is it so wrong to miss you?
Is it so wrong to care?
It's been so long, but I'm still waiting
Wishing you were there

My heart's been aching for you
Intentions good and sweet
Even though the sad truth is
You dont remember me

Have you thought about me?
Do you recall my name?
It all changed, the world I knew
Nothing stayed the same

Sometimes you come to me in dreams
When we're fast asleep
We're meant to be apart, it seems
For sleep is only sleep

In my dreams you know me
In sleep your eyes meet mine
In slumber you're kissing me
Instead of her tonight

Yet sadly dreams are only dreams
In truth dreams come true never
But if I'm yours in just my dreams
I want to sleep forever
