Dreams I Never Have

Dreams that hurt so bad.

Know that when I dream at night I dream of you.

I dream of all the things that never could have been.

I dream of everything I'll never have.

If I only could live in those dreams and forget the reality I have destroyed around me.

Forget the pain, the emptyness....remember only the best days of my life.

Maybe smile at the next sunrise I see, maybe cry at the next sunset, maybe live again.

I close my eyes and see only happyness, I see bright colors, I see myself in the light.

I open my eyes to pure evil, and in the mirror the devil stares back at me.
