Loving is painful sometimes

If only,
I could find some answers,
To my pain.

I knew how,
To pacify my brain.

I might understand
Why my eyes fill
With pain.


If only
At the start,
I might have known the end,
Funny but I'd still
Do it all over again.

But the saddest if only,
The one I'll leave till last,
Is that lust has love replaced,
Leaving but a memory fleeting fast.
