LOOKING FOR A MATE

'I've been single long enough'
I thought, one early morning;
Love must be in the air,
For indeed, I had no warning!

So I went to the old computer
I'd go online to find a mate;
My email box was empty,
I'd left it all up to fate!

I typed in "LOVE ONLINE"
And then my personal ad;
Anyone who'd pass me by
Must be completely mad!

The email I received
Gave my empty heart a boost;
I'm getting married in two weeks;
True love came home to roost!
