The way I perceived the soul of an Unknown Soldier and how his spirit longs to be known. |
| To be unknown was nothing I sought, You stand by my stone and see for; My country I fought. Centuries past my unknown soul old And dreary, Trapped in this tomb so dark and weary. My haunted soul lies in despair, Wishing answers, of my souls destiny, Would come from somewhere. For my country, I Proudly fought and Died. My souls destinies unfolding, slowly, When, God will decide. Many unknown spirits are left unhealed, Secrets kept and spirits unrested; Battle cries still heard and immortals Sanity is tested. Our Lord is with us and with His Angels We soar, This releases our souls, never to be Unknown anymore... |
