They didn’t take me to the funeral.
They told me I was too young.
But I - I remained strong.
It was you who kept me going on.

That day I cried.
The day you died.
I didn’t get to say goodbye.
Instead I sat and cried.

All my memories of you, not one of them bad.
But as I recollect them I am sad.
Sad that I won't ever get to talk to you .
Sad that I won't get to say how much love I had for you.

I have grown so much since you passed away.
I think about you every minute, every day.
In my heart, my feelings are still true.
In my mind, I will always remember you.
