You ever see the rain?

         RAIN

So many shiny puddles
         Red and yellow streaked
Ribbons of instability on ebony bubbles of pavement,
         And the almost silent splash of tires kissing blood pools.
Small wet kisses of rain on hot cheek
         Gentle and cool.
Silent falling of mist so fine.
We walk so quiet and kiss the breeze
         laughing softly.
So many shiny puddles.
