In the Garden of God

In the Garden of God I sing a happy praise
of my sweet Lord's wondrous and miraculous ways.
The gleaming sun never fades and always shines bright
with angels surrounded by an aura of heavenly light.


In the Garden of God I never shed a tear
He walks next to me taking away all my fear.
Flowers are blooming where the streets are paved of gold
with time passing us by but we never grow old.


In the Garden of God I never feel heartache
in His presence I feel so alive and awake.
In the Garden of God I live in His embrace
forever thanking Him for His amazing grace.

Author's Note: On this earth there are so many things that can cause us heartache and pain. I have often wondered what it would be like once God takes us to our new home. To be in a place where only happiness and love exists.
