TREASURES There are treasures in the sea Tossed about by angry waves, Landing on the sandy beaches; Treasures that man craves. Shroud of darkness falls On the beaches where man searches for The precious, elusive, black pearl; Wanting, always wanting, more. Man will learn the hard way That a pearl invites a crowd; He must escape the greed and hunger Or wear, himself, a shroud. There are treasures in the sea Tossed about by angry waves, Landing on the sandy beaches; Treasures that man craves. |
