THIS PLANET EARTH

This planet earth on which we live
Has seen much chaos in its time;
You'd think that someday we would see
The responsibility - yours and mine.

Created with force and fire,
Emerging with a beauty undenied;
I stand in awe of this planet
Where chaos threatens to abide.

The lush green mountains are a pleasure
For human eyes to look upon;
The sparkling rivers, lakes and oceans
Here now, could one day be gone.

Chaos chooses to destroy
The beauty of this planet earth;
While we who live upon it -
Do not realize what it's worth.

Each person can contribute
Just a little bit of time
To make this planet earth
Chaos-free and fine!
