Jesus Set Me Free

When I was a child I was wild
People would say don't get her riled
As a teen I became mean
Ran around and made a scene
As an adult I joined a cult
Which my friends took as an insult
As a wife I had to face much strife
And often thought about ending my life
As a Mother I learned to love others
My hubby, my babies, my father, mother, sister and brother
I'm no longer blind as my past is left behind
When Jesus has granted me peace of mind
With God as my guide I can walk with pride
As I know that Jesus will always be at my side
