HONOR

Having heard the call of duty
Off they go across the sea;
Never hesitating, courage
Offers them a chance to be!
Rising up to face the challenge
In a far off distand land;
Never doubting they are needed,
Giving all to make a stand.
Of home and family thoughts come easy,
Uniting them with days gone by;
Reaching for every chance to
Savor each memory, each goodbye...
Opening, they read the letters
Loved ones write from Home Sweet Home;
Digesting every word written
Into their hearts, they're not alone!
Entering a world so different
Realizing that the need is clear;
Standing tall for country, honor held dear!
