I AM THE REASON

For many years we stayed together,
But lately I've been wondering why;
The love we had is dying and
It does no good to sit and cry.

Now that you're leaving,
It complicates our lives;
But I am the reason
That I will stay alive!

I've got a passion for life
And I will not let it go;
I'm strong enough and bold enough
To move right along and so

Now that you're leaving,

It seems the love I offered you
Was never quite enough -
We're both tired of trying;
Living can be really tough!

So go your way and I'll go mine,
I'll tell you what I'll do;
I'll dance and sing and anything
To go on alone without you.
