WHISPERS IN THE NIGHT

Whispers heard in the night,
Soft words of understanding;
Kisses blown across the room,
Never angry or demanding.

Always kind and gentle,
Always patient and sincere;
Being there for each other,
Happiness made so clear!

Eyes that lock in passion,
Hearts that together beat as one;
Side by side through all weather,
Knowing every song you've sung.

Hands entwined across the table
Glass of wine shared by two;
Whispers in the night echo loudly
When the universe is new.
