| Jupiter turns from first postnuptial kiss of Neptune tossing bridal blossoms to planets all. As daffodils scatter on desert clay, she preens: the pyramids bejeweled in gold. As lotus lands on golf course pond, she winks: the joke's on you, Man. As rose seduces human skin, she blooms: For an instant all is scarlet garden. For an instant. Next to wed, her groom is War. Everyone's invited, of course. Who will catch the beautiful bouquet? |
