To honor my country - I LOVE IT!

MY AMERICA, MY HOME

This is the land where freedom
And our country's flag will stand
For the ideals we believe in,
No less could anyone demand.

Our forefathers saw the chance
To begin a new and better life;
Rolled up their sleeves, got to work
Endured much pain and strife

That this might be a free land,
That our young women and our men
Would never ever have to suffer
Through the bonds of tyranny again.

This is my America, my home,
To cherish and defend;
To hold sacred the history
From beginning to the end.

From the rocky coast of Maine
To the frozen peaks of Alaska;
To the sunny beaches of Florida,
To the wheatfields of Nebraska,

For the beauty of the mountains,
The rugged stretch of plain;
This land is my America, my home!
Never take her name in vain.

From the snows of old Vermont
To the deserts burning heat;
We who love America will stand
And never once accept defeat.

My America, I would honor you;
To flag and country always true!
