Blanket of Love

just wants to be wrapped in the blanket of acceptance

I try so hard
to be the person
you want me to be
I even go as far
as to change myself
I want to make you
proud of me
I need to feel
that blanket of love
to surround me
I hate feeling the coldness
of the hatred wind
which blows at me
I one day I wish
to do something right
and have you

and smile

I want see the love
in your eyes
I need to feel
that blanket of love
to surround me
wrap myself in it
and dream of the life
which I can fulfill
