GHOST SHIP In the light of the full moon You can see the ship at sea Being tossed about on angry waves Where no mortal man should be. Standing on the deck alone A captain takes his stand Face frozen as in ice A futile voice will demand That his ship not be lost again And then it fades from sight; It's doomed to sail the sea again Going down in ice each night. 'Twas many years ago, I'm told, That the ship was lost at sea Into the waves and ice it sank Only to rise - throughout eternity. |
