My Little Corner

Overcoming the fear of anywhere but my little corner

I'm sitting in my corner,
My little corner of the universe
And I'm wondering,
What everyone else is doing.
Are they thinking of me
Do they even care?
The thoughts go through my head
As I sit in my little corner
And wonder the world away.

I’m sitting in my corner
All by my lonesome self
Listening to the world around me
Without seeing anyone’s face.
It’s changing too quickly
Without any emotion at all
I’m too scared to move
So I’ll sit in my little corner
Until it all makes sense.

I’m sitting in my little corner
Watching the world go by.
And I wonder to myself
Isn’t it worth a try?
One foot followed by the other
One small step at a time
Live it day by day
And get the hell out of
My little corner of the universe.
