Moondance

I'm out dancing on the moon... or so I think

Moondance
Floating, rising, up I soar
On a moonbeam that rises up from the floor
I jump and dance and twirl
Then sit and rest to look down at the world
But I dance on the moon till the sun rises once more
Then follow the moonbeam back down to my floor
Where I look out my window at the moon in the sky
Then dreamily I shut my eyes
As I wait for the coming of another dark sky
So I can dance on the moon with starlight in my eyes
And wake up once more.
