God please forgive this lost Hypocrite.

"God Please Forgive"

Precious God please forgive
When sometimes I fail to live
As a God fearing Christian
Not following your suggestions


The Holy Bible tells me why
I should live a Christian life
Some times my actions may
From its teachings often stray


There is no excuse to make
Old habits are hard to break
I may curse or, take a drink
But, when I do I don't think


I hope I am not a hypocrite
For these reasons how I live
I'm not perfect by any means
I could do better it seems


God if my faith was stronger
Temptation would be no bother
If I put these things aside
I could live a Christians life


By following the Holy bible
I will enjoy a sacred survival.
I'll live a long peaceful life
As long as God on my side.
