Invisible Tears

Something I was thinking of and it just sorta came

I look at the sky and pretend
that there is another world
one better than this
one with no unhappy end

I shed these invisible tears
they race down my cheeks
down my face
filled with nothing mere

I look for a better place
far away from here
a place of freedom
just with my own space

A place of real happiness
where love truly does exist
a peaceful and truthful
home of love and trust

I shed these invisible tears
running as quickly as they can
away to a false place
a place of no fear

I hope I can find this place
somewhere special just for me
where I can find that special
someone to share my space
