Floods

I don't know how to speak to you:
A look, a glance, says all,
I hope. In your gaze, I feel complete
Understanding pass between us.
Read my mind then, will you,
Or see right through? You look away.
The moment past, I am without words,
Unable to voice the thoughts, the hopes
Which, unbidden, flood my mind.
