I May Never Know

Long distance (internet) loves.

I may never know
the wonderfulness
of the shine in your
eyes as they look
in mine and see
the glow of mine as
they look into yours.

I may never know
the touch of your
hand as it moves
to hold mine
as I reach out
my hand to touch
and join with yours.

I may never know
the joy of our bodies
laying tangled with
each other in a
bed that is warm
from the heat that
our joining has caused.

But I do know
the wonderfulness
of having a friend
that I can touch
and feel the glow
as our tangled souls
reach out and hold on.
