My Wish

How can I deal with this?
You being so far
I want to hold you
And yet... I cannot

When something distresses you
I want to be there
To hold you... to hug you...
To let you know you aren't alone.
Just to let you know that I am here.

And yet... I cannot.

To smooth away your troubles
To know that you are happy
To support your every endeavour.

That is my wish

I cannot take knowing you suffer
And knowing that there is nothing I can do.
To help when you feel pain.
To calm your fears.
To just be able to hold you

That is my hearts wish.
