Mt Kanchenjunga is the highest mountain in India, located in the Indian Himalayas and a beautiful sight to behold as it bridges the earth and the skies. At 28,209 feet , it is the third tallest mountain in the world. I fell in love with it from the first time I trekked the route from Darjeeling (7500 ft) , a beautiful Himalayan hill station in Bengal India, surrounded by manicured tea plantations, to base at Sandakphu following rough mountain pathways and forests.
