Snow Bound

Watching the snow as it gets deeper and deeper.

Snow bound

Lost under a cover of blown snow.
Stop the snow covering my home.
I'll wait for the warmth of the Sun.
To clear a path for people to come.


I like the nature and its fallen snow.
But, when it gets this deep then no.
I had plans to travel down the road.
Then buy groceries and back home.


I don't have a Jeep or snowmobile.
So getting out of here is a big deal..
The snow is falling at a heavy rate.
I will stay here and accept my fate.


If I get the chance I will drive away.
On through the snow in some way.
If I must I will stay in the old home.
Wait out the storm until it's gone.
