Ode To A Sunset

sunsets are heaven (written in junior high for an assignment)

Purple, pink, orange, red
Are all the colors I see
While I watch a sunset.

Fluffy clouds and
Tiny birds,
Float across the sky,
Highlighted
By the dimming light.

Oh how I wish
That this could stay for more
Than just the few minutes
it is here
Every special evening.
