You can't do this to her (2023 and 2025) (TW Self Harm).

You Can't Pt. 1

She saw
A dull blade
and a sob broke through—
“You can’t do this to her,”
she whispered,
“don't hurt her, too—”
Her eyes were swollen,
Her voice raspy
From the tears—
Shaking at the thought of the blade
Pushing into skin,
Reflecting fears—

She persisted.
“You can’t do this to her,
You CAN’T,” she yelled—
However, the blade inched closer
To her nakedness;
The only security she held—
“You can’t do this,
You can’t do this to her,”
She sobbed—

“You remember how much it hurts!
You know how much it
Robbed—”

“Please!
Please…
Dont—”

“I’m begging you.”
She whispered.
“I’m begging, don’t—”

But no one heard her,
The blade pushed into her skin,
Her questions—
And she
Shed-
And
Bled-
Streams of wildflowers and dandelions—

Now,
She lay
Emotionless, muddled—
In a colorful,
Beautiful
Puddle—
Of her own destruction.

A little less human
A little less
Alive—

(but, hey, at least this time she survived—)

You Can't Pt. 2-

There she is again,
The blade pressed into her skin.
And her blood pools out
Again and again and again.

She fought so valiantly before
Begging her skin not to break
But now she lies there,
All her will is gone,
She can’t even shake.

“You can’t!”
She begged
Her heart on the floor
But her words came to nothing
no strength, nothing more.
