Entry for The Writer's Cramp

This is the story of two twin girls who fell victim to an oversized cat. He was an interesting guy… at first, but then things…. Changed. When it all began, the kids had fun with the cat. Every day around the same time, the kids would meet the cat upstairs when their mother left for work. They would play various games: hide and seek, play with their easy bake oven, play board games, and they even started watching movies. Cat’s favorite thing to watch was horror movies. However, what started out as a hobby became an obsession…..
One day, Shelley and Kelly’s mother left for work at the same time, and they headed upstairs to meet the cat. Usual meeting place they thought, but the cat was nowhere to be found…. Only a note, written in red. It said:
Find me, within 20 minutes, or pay the ultimate price…..
“Haha, very funny Cat.” Shelley said out loud.
“I don’t think he is joking.” Kelly said, nervously.
“Why?”
“Because there is this….” Kelly said, holding up a dress, that looked like it had… blood on it.
Shelley screamed and started freaking out. “What are we going to do?”
“Sis, calm down, we are going to play.”
“Play?! Seriously? Are you trying to get us killed?”
“Got any other ideas Shell?” Kelly asked, sarcastically.
Deciding that they shouldn’t waste anymore time, they decided to look for the cat, and everywhere they looked, they found another blood soaked item. As time ticked away, they both grew very nervous, any hope of finding the cat started to fade… Eventually, they gave up, with one minute to spare. They accepted their fate. Shelley and Kelly walked hand in hand in the living room together, and sat on the couch, and waited for the unknown….. Seconds later, they heard a loud breathing behind them.
Slowly, they turned and saw the cat. Face distorted, fangs sharp, and bloody, and claws out ready to strike….. They both screamed as he drew his hand back. Then he struck them both, blood splattered everywhere, and Shelley flew up from her pillow gasping for breath.
Taking a moment, she looked around the room. “IT was just a dream!”
Smiling, she got out of the bed, and walked over to her sister’s bed and crawled in next to her. Thank goodness, their cat was still normal, and would never become a full-grown person, with an obsession for horror movies…..
