Letters For Luna

Moon, pale sinking heart,
glowing, slipping beneath
whispers in my dark —

oft you hide, white pearl.
But, no memory of me?
Where I spy, unfurl?

Stoic, spying streetlights,
block by block doused
until dungeons burns bright —

but soft gloom returns.
Black trees sway, dye-white,
command-open my ash urn.

I join silent refrains.
Bright sung words sing return
in dulled, country lanes.

Crisp leaves, savaged wet,
a gaze crystallizes
knowing — no life regrets.

So many seasons spent,
bluer than a spun marble —
harvests to cellar sent.

I dream in the beyond —
know true love’s position
as ripples or white tides.

Relay messages from me
where we might join, lonely
as stone Tranquility.

AI image personally produced from AIEase.ai text to image generator, from my prompt: Night, full moon, blue, bright, its light illuminates a lone, tall pine with full bows, light on front side facing moon, it’s a near silhouette of tree where light doesn’t reach, on shadowy, light fringed bluff, to personify connection between moon and tree, in nature, suggesting loneliness but harmony, best quality
