untitled, can’t think of a name

Hi! I'm Octulas (not my real name, I don't think its even a possible name...) and I've posted a couple things onto this website and I really like it! The age group of people here seems to be a bit above me... but I find it really endearing. Basically, I'm saying hi to any avid writing.com user..

I'm not sure why I'm writing this out, but for context this is probably something I'd say to myself? Like in my head? I hope this doesn't come off as venting, I really don't want to do that, but I guess I just want to do something different.


First, I want to say that I'm looking for someone who would like to talk about writing fiction stuff. I've already made a post searching, but I never really had any responses so I don't have much hope for this either, I just thought I'd give it a try. One thing about me is that I love worldbuilding! Like, coming up with a fake world to have stories in. More of the fantasy aspect, but I don't really do "high fantasy" or whatever its called.. like, the Tolkien-adjacent things I don't do, but I am interested by. I actually started making worlds a long time ago, and recently I've been working on it more and more often. So anyway, if you're interested me message me or something!

Second, oh my gosh it's hard to meet people online! I'm horrible at talking with people in real life (really shocking coming from someone writing this...) and I've made a lot of friends online! Most of them I don't talk to anymore, a lot of different reasons. Not sure why I'm even bringing this up, I just thought it's weird how everything is connected and stuff but it's still hard to meet people.

Third, it's really easy to think about yourself in third person! I've been doing it a lot and I'm not sure if that's healthy.

Fourth, I've been dreaming a lot.

Fifth, sometimes I'll be looking at something and be reminded of a feeling? Or a little snippet of my life.

Sixth, ghosts scare me but I really hope they're real because that'd be awesome.

Seventh, I think mice have a vendetta against things made of plastic.

Those last parts weren't connected to anything, I just kind of wrote down my thoughts. If you read this, thank you!
