One month of love. One scream. Tess bolts into the woods. Wyatt, her lover, now hunts her.

Chapter 1
BEEP BEEP BEEP. My alarm clock goes off, pulling me out of my dreams. I sluggishly get ready for school, it's Wednesday. Halfway through the week. I brace myself for the day as I close the front door behind me. "Tess!!!!" my best friend, Rosalie shrieks. She is the dumb blonde friend that every girl needs in their lives. She is the friend who helps with all the girly things you need to know at 17; makeup, boys, clothes, stuff like that. " Good morning, Tessa" says my more mature best friend, Beth. I've know both of them since kindergarten. Since then, we've just stuck together, outlasting all the usual cliques girls have. We hop into my Honda Civic like any other day and drive to school. I park in my usual parking spot and we all step out. " Oh my gosh!! I'm so excited for when I can drive in 2 days." exclaims Rosalie. She hasn't gotten her license yet, that's why I drive them. Beth can but her mom uses their minivan to drive her younger siblings. The warning bell rings and we all head off to our first classes of the day, mine being English.
