THE AUTHOR

The First Story

Elohim sitting
at His great desk in heaven
opening a book -
a book without any words
because words do not exist

words are not needed
there are no ears to hear them
no eyes to read them
and as He takes the great pen
He writes these three single words

the first word is time
the Author is timeless but
the story is not
there will be a beginning
and there will be an ending

then comes the second -
as He writes He sees adam
the first adam and
each one that is following
as time continues to move

then comes the third word
Emanuel or God with us
it's a love story
He enters His own story
a choice only He can make

then He writes the end
already feeling the pain
He completes the end
knowing the choice He will make
then He closes the love book
