Life happens so fast you can't keep up or slow it down, so savor each moment. |
Catching Memories We try to hold life in our hands, God is busy with other plans. Someday when time is running out, try to capture what life’s about. A grandbaby’s first smile, cool feel of rain upon your brow. Feel, again, a lover’s kiss placed once, gently, on your lips. Life is full of precious things, snapshot moments, paper rings. Grass stain jeans, crayon cards, homemade ornaments, old postcards. Photo albums of moments past, memories we hoped would last. This is all that remains, black and whites with coffee stains. So, one more time before you go, make an angel in fresh fallen snow. Watch a movie that made you cry. Name critter clouds in the sky. Life is here to learn and grow, make fleeting memories as we go. Hopefully when all is done, we slip gracefully behind the sun. By Kathie Stehr Feb. 12, 2026 |
